Will my pet actually sit still for this?

Most won't, and that's fine. You don't need a still pet, you need about three seconds of a paw in the right place. If the first press is smudged or off centre, roll the clay flat and go again. Our tip: do it while they're sleepy, lay everything out first, and treat attempt one as a practice run.
How many attempts do I get?

As many as you need. It's air dry clay, so it stays workable until you leave it out to set. There's plenty in the kit and no timer running. Most people use two or three goes before they're happy, which is exactly how it's meant to work.
What if I mess it up?

Roll it flat and start over. Nothing is wasted and nothing is spoiled. The only way to lose a print is to leave a bad one out to dry.
Does it work for cats, kittens and small breeds?
